Are you ready for this? One of the most challenging fashion colors will be the center of this post. YELLOW.

DADATEK, a collective for the curation of bizarre pop-art parties, in collaboration with local artists, performers and DJs present YOLK, an absurdist/neo-dadaist night of art, performance and music all around the color YELLOW. No, it’s got nothing to do with golden showers and piss, and no, YOLK has no sexual subtext either. It’s a playful art party that you haven’t experienced yet.

Expect an eclectic, quirky DJ mix raging from experimental electronica to no-wave and post-punk, alongside a variety of creative adventures: live painting by Japanese artist Ayako Rokkaku, photography installations by Dadatek and myself, sculptural installation work by Rosemary Lee, audience-participating video by Dale Phurrough, illustration by Ango the Meek Dead and Ziga Tomori, impromptu situational performances, space-deco by Erik Mittasch, cookie and treat giveaways and more, all loosely themed around the color YELLOW.

If you have planned to get all sexed up at the SNAX party in Berghain/Lab, you better do something for those brain cells at YOLK before you kill them at the sex party.

The audience will be invited to participate as much as they’d like to or simply to come yellow and join the strange fun. The yellower you appear, the cheaper you get in and the more we love you. For example: if you have yellow briefs, socks, T-Shirt, pants and hat, you will get in for free. Yellow teeth don’t count.

Join DADATEK and me  for a night of art, music and avant-gardisms on

April 23 2011 at Panke, Berlin Wedding. Start: 21.00
